Unveiling The Residences at Wahroonga Estate: A Celebration of Creativity and Luxury
The grand launch of The Residences at Wahroonga Estate was a significant moment for luxury real estate in the Upper North Shore. Nestled in the evergreen bushland, this premium development offers a blend of tranquillity, and elegance, redefining true North Shore living.
The event began with a sense of excitement as guests arrived, walking beneath a balloon garland and along a tree-lined pathway to see the unveiling of the project. They were welcomed with freshly brewed coffee and artisan gelato and enjoyed live music from The Voice finalist Jessica Laffan before exploring the custom display suite.
The event hosted over 100 guests, with canapés circulating throughout the front room display, all the way through the green room to the Coco Republic designed display apartment to ensure culinary delights complemented every conversation. The ambiance soon shifted as attention turned to the inspiration and design philosophy that shaped the project.
Jim Hunter, Director of Capital Corporation, spoke largely to the vision for the project as a commitment to creating a vibrant community that blends the best of Upper North Shore living with luxurious amenities, ensuring each unit stands out as a truly exceptional residence. Hunter explained that the project’s key features focus on preserving a strong connection with the surrounding natural landscape, allowing residents to experience both the serenity of nature and the elegance of contemporary living in their Coco Republic designed apartment. He also mentioned that the apartments were designed to be generous in size with floor to ceiling windows facing the North, to capture the bushland view that will never be built out.
Coco Republic’s, Head of Interiors, Diana Ribarevski revealed that her inspiration was largely sparked by the dappled light, and eucalyptus trees of the natural surrounds and local area. Particularly, how she employed the calmness and softness of autumn, including fallen gum tree leaves of the local bushlands to form the ‘Coco Light’ palette, contrasting from her focus on the deep browns of the earth mixed with the vibrant green of the native gum tree leaves to craft the ‘Coco Dark’ palette.
Lisa-Maree Carrigan, Director of GroupGSA, spoke about her design inspiration, which was deeply rooted in Wahroonga’s local built environment and bushland. Drawing from her personal experience growing up in the area, she explained how the natural beauty guided her choice of materials to complement the landscape. Her goal was to honour the traditional architecture of the suburb while blending classic elements with modern details, creating a design that respects the past and looks to the future.
The panel discussion wrapped up and guests soon made their way over to the opening of the complimentary gelato cart to make their long-awaited selection of either Ferrero Rocher or Salted Caramel…or both!
The event seamlessly merged sophistication with warmth, creating an environment where guests could immerse themselves in the future of luxury in Wahroonga. The centrepiece of the event was the bustling display apartment, where guests were able to experience the meticulous craftsmanship and refined design. The space served not just as a showcase of architectural excellence but also as an embodiment of the sophisticated living The Residences at Wahroonga Estate has to offer.
As the event drew to a close, guests departed with a gift bag that featured Wahroonga Estate goodies, having enjoyed a fantastic afternoon that showcased the unparalleled luxury and thoughtful design of The Residences at Wahroonga Estate.
